ShowLef
ShowLef puts a Download button on the videos and audio you watch in Chrome. One click, and the file lands in your Downloads folder, with its real title.
What it does
Lessons, talks, songs: what you listen to in the browser often disappears or needs a connection. ShowLef keeps a copy on your computer, to listen to later, on the road or on a phone without internet.
No technical words: you choose “Normal quality”, “Small file” or “Audio only”, with the size written next to it. The small program next to the clock does the downloading: several connections at once, resumes after a cut, and a list where you play, open the folder or delete in one click.
How it works

Download the ShowLef program and open the file: one double-click, no password.

Add the ShowLef extension to Chrome (coming soon to the Chrome Web Store).

On any video, click Download: normal quality, small file or audio only.

Is it safe to run?
Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” because this file is new and not code-signed. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. You can check that your copy is genuine by comparing its SHA-256 fingerprint with the one below. The programs only write to their own folder in your user profile and contain no personal data.
